There are several models of blackberry and the preference of which model to be used is a personal choice .

Most Blackberry's have a full qwerty keyboard, except for the pearl which has a keypad that is more mobile phone like.

• Ability to receive emails on the move.
• Synchronize calendar with outlook when in the office.
• WiFi access on many models.
• All standard phone functions.
• GPS, Media player,
• Camera (on most)
• Bluetooth which allow connection to internet from Laptop via blackberry.

The one major issue with Blackberry, when used in conjunction with Microsoft Exchange Server you need to install another program to link with exchange and allow synchronizing of calendar and tasks when on the move.
